Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions, leaving the skin clear and radiant.
Lumecca uses photothermolysis, a method of applying intense pulsed lights to target pigmented skin and vascular lesions. The treatment improves the complexion and clarity of your skin, while also improving the appearance of sun damage and redness on the skin.
Lumecca is one of the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) that delivers up to 3x more energy in 500-600nm range to improve efficacy for vascular and pigmented lesions.
Improving the appearance of age spots, Rosacea, thread veins and port wine stains. Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck and décolletage, legs, hands, and arms. However, it is safe and effective on most parts of the body and face. In just 1-3 comfortable treatments, patients notice significant improvements
in the complexion and clarity of their skin. We even have 2 different handpieces of differing wavelength spectrums, to allow safe treatment of darker skin types.
LumeccaTM has been FDA approved to treat Fitzpatrick Skin types I-IV.

Lumecca and Morpheus8 together is a great treatment choice for those in need of surface correction (sun damage/ age spots/ redness) but also wanting to address jowls or sagging skin, on the face, neck or almost anywhere else.
How it works
Lumecca uses light that is converted into heat energy, suppressing pigmentation, and eliminating spider veins, whilst at the same time stimulating collagen and elastin, resulting in a clearer and more radiant complexion. The light pulse targets the pigmentation, which is then either absorbed by the skin or flakes off in the following days after treatment. The IPL also activates the skin to produce collagen, filling the surrounding excess pores.
What to expect
During your Lumecca treatment there will be a bright flash of light and a slight prickly sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal and usually subside within an hour. Due to the light intensity of the treatment, it is recommended that direct sunlight and tanning are avoided. A course of three treatments is recommended, but patients notice improvements after just one session of Lumecca.
